Sept. 15, 2010

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana University's PBS television station, WTIU-TV, is hosting a Kids Fair on Saturday (Sept. 18) from noon to 3 p.m. at Bloomington's College Mall.

Super Why!

Children are invited to come and meet the cast of the syndicated PBS cartoon "SUPER WHY!" and view episodes of the popular show, which teaches spelling through fairy tales.

Also in attendance will be the hosts of WTIU's "The Friday Zone," including the show's new co-host, Taylor Crousore, who joins veteran host Emily Fergason for the program's 11th season, premiering Friday, Oct. 8.

Crousore is a sophomore in the IU Department of Theatre and Drama who has been cast in IU plays that include Blood Brothers and Take Me Out. He is also a substitute teacher at the Prep School Academy, and said he has always had a passion for working with kids.

"I am looking so forward to being the newest co-host on 'The Friday Zone,'" Taylor said. "I'm a native to Bloomington, so I grew up watching 'The Friday Zone.' It's a total honor to now be hosting the show."
