BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Live From Bloomington today (Oct. 25) announced an upcoming free concert at the Indiana Memorial Union that will feature local music.
The free event, which will take place in the IMU Starbucks on Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. and last for about three hours, will feature five local singer/songwriters. The show is a great way to get to know local music and nice venue for anyone who wants to know more about the wealth of musicians that call Bloomington home.
"The performers bring their own unique style to the table so I think everyone will discover a performer who they can connect and relate to," said Brant Craft, who as chief organizer of the event helped find the right artists for the show.
The lineup consists of:
- Neal Anderson
- Lindsay Smith
- Brian Fortner
- Elsie White
- Tyler Ray
"This is the perfect event for students to experience and get exposed to some of the great solo acts in Bloomington," Craft said. "The Union is the perfect place for it to happen."
