Despite rain, IU spirit shines at State Fair
A little rain didn't dampen the enthusiasm at the first-ever IU Day at the Indiana State Fair. Instead, the fairgrounds were awash in a sea of cream and crimson on Thursday (Aug. 10) as IU celebrated its commitment to Indiana with more than 50 interactive exhibits, a parade, pep rallies and musical performances. And the fun isn't over. IU will have a continuous presence on IU Boulevard (by the Gate 12 entrance) for the duration of this Hoosier tradition, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary and will run through Aug. 20.
Below are a few photos that will allow IU alumni and all Hoosiers to relive -- or experience for the first time -- IU Day at the State Fair.
