IU Bloomington Diversity Committee to meet

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Indiana University Bloomington Diversity Committee, which was created according to state statute, will meet on Thursday (Feb. 28) at 1:30 p.m. in the Hoosier Room of the Indiana Memorial Union on the IU Bloomington campus.
The Indiana Code requires that similar committees be formed on all campuses to review and recommend faculty employment policies concerning diversity issues; review faculty and administration personnel complaints concerning diversity issues; make recommendations to promote and maintain cultural diversity among faculty members; and make recommendations to promote recruitment and retention of minority students.
