Media advisory: Statement from Behrman family
EDITORS: In response to news reports about the investigation into the death of Indiana University student Jill Behrman, her family has released the following statement by her father, Eric Behrman:
"Our family very much appreciates the outpouring of support locally, statewide and nationally concerning the tragedy involving our daughter Jill. The police investigation is continuing, and our family looks forward to assisting in any way possible. With this in mind, the family has chosen not to speak to the media in the near term. When final plans are complete for a memorial service or related events, our family will announce this publicly. We appreciate your concern and ask that you respect our family's wishes at this most difficult time."
