IU Trustees Nominating Committee sets slate of officers

The Indiana University Board of Trustees Nominating Committee today (July 24) nominated Frederick F. Eichhorn Jr. as board president and Stephen L. Ferguson as board vice president. Both currently serve in those roles.

The board will vote on the nominations during its annual organizational meeting, which will be Aug. 14 on the IUPUI campus. Officers are elected for a two-year term.

Eichhorn, whose current term on the board ends June 30, 2005, has served as president since April 2002. Ferguson has been vice president since August 2002. His current board term ends June 30, 2004.

The remaining proposed officers are Robin Roy Gress, secretary; Steven A. Miller, treasurer; and Dorothy J. Frapwell, assistant secretary. All are university employees.
