Advisory: Innovative public/private partnership encouraging entrepreneurship to be announced Monday

EDITORS: A federation of Indiana's universities will make an announcement on Monday (Aug. 25) in Indianapolis concerning a new, innovative public/private partnership that will encourage additional entrepreneurship statewide.

The federation, in partnership with the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership and a generous alumnus of Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, will announce the formation of the Indiana Venture Center and name the first person who will lead the center.

A media availability will be held at 10:30 a.m. in Room 137 of the University Conference Center on the campus of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, 900 West Michigan St.

Schools involved in the federation are Ball State University, Indiana University, the University of Notre Dame, Purdue University and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. In addition to participants in the media availability, each institution will have representatives available to discuss this initiative afterward.
