Media Advisory: Initial H1N1 vaccine reservations filled; IU Health Center adds more openings

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Declaring Indiana University Bloomington Health Center's online reservation system for H1N1 vaccines a success after all initial openings were filled as of early today (Nov. 11), IU Health Center officials said they have already added thousands of new reservation openings.

The IU Health Center reservation system went active Nov. 6 offering 5,760 open reservation slots over a two-week period. The calendar dates for this period will be announced when the H1N1 vaccine arrives. Officials with the Health Center today (Nov. 11) said nine additional weeks of openings were being made available to accommodate more reservation opportunities.

WHERE: Visit either the IU Bloomington home page at https://www.iub.edu/, the IU Health Center home page at https://healthcenter.indiana.edu/ or the Health Center page in OneStart at https://onestart.iu.edu/ (See "Health Center" in left side menu under the "Campus" tab). Once there, users will be able to access the reservation service by clicking on the "Free H1N1 Vaccinations" icon.
