Indiana University professors and researchers often are called upon to share insights about major developments and current events. Below are brief video segments of professors discussing their areas of expertise.

Leslie Lenkowsky

Leslie Lenkowsky, a professor of philanthropic studies in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs, talks about his research on the importance of giving, the value of non-profit organizations and his role with the Indiana University Center on Philanthropy.

From his experience in the public sector, Lenkowsky shares his insights into the Republican presidential primary. He offers his opinions on the duration of the primary, negative campaign tactics, and on the candidates.

Jonathan Plucker

Jonathan Plucker, professor of educational psychology and cognitive science in the IU School of Education, talks about his research on relationship between creativity and learning and his recent selection as a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Plucker also is director of the Center for Evaluation and Education Policy, one of the country's leading nonpartisan education policy and program evaluation centers. Jon Vickers and the Indiana University Cinema

JonVickers, director of the IU Cinema, talks about the cinema's mission to build a national reputation for arthouse, classic, foreign language and children's film, and its scholarly programming and dedication to a state-of-the-art viewing experience.
