Leslie Lenkowsky, a professor of philanthropic studies in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs, talks about his research on the importance of giving, the value of non-profit organizations and his role with the Indiana University Center on Philanthropy.

From his experience in the public sector, Lenkowsky shares his insights into the Republican presidential primary. He offers his opinions on the duration of the primary, negative campaign tactics, and on the candidates.

Jonathan Plucker, professor of educational psychology and cognitive science in the IU School of Education, talks about his research on relationship between creativity and learning and his recent selection as a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Plucker also is director of the Center for Evaluation and Education Policy, one of the country's leading nonpartisan education policy and program evaluation centers. JonVickers, director of the IU Cinema, talks about the cinema's mission to build a national reputation for arthouse, classic, foreign language and children's film, and its scholarly programming and dedication to a state-of-the-art viewing experience.

Since its inception, IU Cinema has hosted events ranging from the world premiere of a newly commissioned score for 1922 silent film "David Copperfield" to visits by film greats Peter Bogdanovich and John Sayles.
