Media advisory: IU, IU Health to make major announcement on their role in Indiana's economy
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana University President Michael A. McRobbie and Daniel F. Evans Jr., president and CEO of Indiana University Health, will make a major announcement Thursday, Feb. 16, regarding the role of the university and the comprehensive health care system in advancing Indiana's economy.
McRobbie and Evans will discuss the results of a new independent study analyzing economic activity related to all IU campuses and IU Health operations across the state.
WHAT: Press conference with IU President Michael A. McRobbie, IU Health President and CEO Dan Evans, IU Vice President for Engagement Bill Stephan and a representative from Tripp Umbach, a national economic research firm.
WHEN: 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16
WHERE: University Place Conference Center, Room 118, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, 850 W. Michigan St., Indianapolis.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
