Media advisory: Business Outlook Panel begins presentations Thursday in Indianapolis, Bloomington
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
OCT. 31, 2012
EDITORS: Beginning Thursday, Nov. 1, in Indianapolis and Bloomington, Indiana University's Kelley School of Business will present its annual national, state and local economic forecasts for the coming year.
The Business Outlook Tour will begin with a presentation at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 1 at the Columbia Club, 121 Monument Circle, in downtown Indianapolis. The panel also will appear that day at 11:30 a.m. at the Indiana Memorial Union Alumni Hall, 900 E. Seventh St.
For nearly 40 years, the panel has traveled the state offering insights and useful guidance to citizens, policy-makers and business people. As in the past, this year's panel will feature faculty members from the Kelley School and local panelists from other IU campuses and other universities, offering perspectives on the national and state economies and financial markets.
Media again are invited to attend, and arrangements have been made for electronic media covering the Indianapolis presentation. In addition to their presentations on Thursday, the faculty panel will travel to nine other cities across the state this month. A complete schedule is available in our Oct. 17 release.
