Bob Woodward available to meet with reporters at IU Bloomington on Monday

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

EDITOR'S NOTE: Bob Woodward, a Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter and assistant managing editor at The Washington Post, will meet with reporters at 3:30 p.m. on Monday (Sept. 17) at Indiana University Bloomington and give a 7 p.m. public lecture on campus that evening. His lecture opens the IU School of Journalism's fall lecture series.

Woodward will meet with the media for 30 minutes in the University Club, located on the first floor of the Indiana Memorial Union, 900 E. Seventh St. Woodward's lecture at the IU Auditorium, 1211 E. Seventh St., also will be open to the media, and arrangements have been made for electronic media.

His investigative reporting with Carl Bernstein of the Watergate scandal helped earn The Washington Post a Pulitzer Prize in 1973. Woodward and Bernstein's account of the investigation, All The President's Men, became a national best-seller and was made into a popular motion picture. Woodward is responsible for The Washington Post's special investigative projects and has written three recent books about the Bush administration.
