MEDIA ADVISORY: IU fundraising campaign making major impact

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana University will announce on Monday (Oct. 29) the goals, progress and results of a major fundraising campaign, which is strengthening its Bloomington campus and having a dramatic impact on the affordability of an IU education for in-state students.
Editors: We believe this announcement will be of interest to all Hoosier families who are concerned about college affordability.
WHAT: A press conference featuring IU President Michael McRobbie and other university officials to announce a major fundraising campaign for IU Bloomington and the impact it is having on Hoosier students.
WHEN: Monday, Oct. 29, at 12:45 p.m.
WHERE: Indiana University Foundation, Showalter House, 1500 N. State Road 45/46 Bypass, Bloomington, Ind.
WHO: IU President Michael McRobbie, IU Bloomington Provost Karen Hanson and IU Foundation President Curt Simic are all scheduled to speak. We expect to have on hand some IU Bloomington students who can comment on how they benefit from this new campaign.
