IUPUI Diversity Cabinet to meet Tuesday

August 13, 2008

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Diversity Cabinet will hold its next meeting Tuesday (Aug. 19) at 8:30 a.m. in the IUPUI Multicultural Center Joseph T. Taylor Hall (lower level) 815 W. Michigan Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202.

The Indiana Code requires that special committees be formed on all campuses to review and recommend faculty employment policies concerning diversity issues; review faculty and administration personnel complaints concerning diversity issues; make recommendations to promote and maintain cultural diversity among faculty members; and make recommendations to promote recruitment and retention of minority students.
