IUPUI Diversity Management Committee to meet

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 8, 2008

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The next meeting of the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Diversity Management Committee will be held on Wednesday (Sept. 10) in Room 103 of the Administration Building on the IUPUI campus.

The Indiana Code requires that similar committees be formed on all campuses to review and recommend faculty employment policies concerning diversity issues; review faculty and administration personnel complaints concerning diversity issues; make recommendations to promote and maintain cultural diversity among faculty members; and make recommendations to promote recruitment and retention of minority students.
