Colloton joins women's basketball staff

Indiana head women's basketball coach Felisha Legette-Jack has added Jimmy Colloton to her staff as graduate assistant. Colloton began the official duties in his new role on Monday, Aug. 1.
Colloton joins the Hoosiers after graduating from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, with a bachelor of arts degree in economics and a minor in business. During his four years at Wittenberg, Colloton served as student assistant coach for the men's basketball team, helping the Tigers to the second round of the 2011 Division III NCAA Tournament. The Wittenberg men's basketball program is the all-time winningest Division III program in the country and is also the all-time leader in NCAA Tournament appearances in Division III.
His duties included serving as bench coach for all varsity and junior varsity games, coordinating video, evaluating and hosting recruits while also assisting with player development and team travel.
"I am thrilled that Jimmy has joined our Hoosier family," Legette-Jack said. "After meeting him the first day, he just seemed like a great fit for our staff. He is hungry to learn and is very humble and willing to do whatever he can to help us get better. His last coach, whom I have great respect for, thinks he is one of the hardest workers he has encountered. We welcome Jimmy to Bloomington with open arms."
During his college tenure, Colloton also spent his summers serving as a camp counselor and instructor for numerous basketball camps throughout the Midwest. He worked for programs such as Illinois, Notre Dame, Purdue, Wittenberg and Wisconsin.
Colloton graduated with honors from Wittenberg while achieving a 3.95 GPA and earned his way to the Dean's List honor roll in each of his eight semesters.
