Research in kinship-based, traditional societies
Kathryn Coe, professor and Lilly Scholar in the Social and Behavioral Sciences Division in the Department of Public Health at the IU School of Medicine, spoke March 22 at the Poynter Center Healthcare Ethics Seminar about some of the lessons learned in over 30 year of health research among many different groups.
Coe has worked with Ecuadorean tribes, Latina and Native American women in the American Southwest, and African-American women.
