Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing

IU students, faculty and staff will attend this year's Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing, an annual conference designed to bring the research and career interests of women in computing to the forefront. Presenters are leaders in their respective fields, representing industrial, academic and government communities. Leading researchers present their current work, while special sessions focus on the role of women in today's technology fields. More than 2000 women attend this conference.

Celebrate Science Indiana

The second annual Celebrate Science Indiana is an opportunity to feel the earth move in an earthquake simulator, learn more about Indiana wildlife, speak with forensic scientists, observe a weather balloon and learn about predicting the weather, see robots in action, and much more. The first 3,000 students (age 15 and younger) to register and turn in their survey card during the event will receive a Celebrate Science Indiana drawstring bag. Admission is free, but a recommended donation of one canned food item per person is encouraged.

Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research Cybersecurity Summit

Many of the Midwest's premier cybersecurity experts will convene in Indianapolis for the eighth annual Higher Education Cybersecurity Summit. In the past, sessions represented an opportunity to explore best practices, research, trends and innovations in information assurance.
