IU law school named for graduate after $35M gift

Indiana University has named the law school at its Bloomington campus for Indianapolis businessman Michael Maurer, who is giving $35 million to the school. IU officials said in announcing the honor on Thursday that Maurer's donation would be invested to fund law student scholarships. IU President Michael McRobbie said Maurer's contribution would help the school attract top law students and provide them with practical training.
