Wells Touch
Parents of incoming freshmen are encouraged to participate in an activity called "The Wells Touch." The parents pass by a lifelike statue of the beloved former president and chancellor of Indiana University. Tradition holds that parents will ensure good luck to their student by shaking Wells' hand.
