This year's recipient is Susan Schricker, a graduate of IU South Bend who earned her Bachelor of General Studies in 2006. She is now a sales account manager for Meridian Title Corp.

Schricker spoke on behalf of the Bachelor of General Studies Degree program at the Indiana Statehouse in 2007, and again in 2010 at the Cream and Crimson Weekend.
